To all of my friends, wherever you may be, may the end of this year find you in good health and in the company of your loved ones. To those who may be enduring tragedy and suffering on this eve of the new year, I hope and pray that you are soon visited upon by God's providence and receive that which you need to survive, regain hope and begin to rebuild your lives. For all of us, may the new year be a kinder and more gentle year than that which is departing.
