Christmas Draws Near and Still No Snow
Well, my friends in Iceland have snow, but it is in short supply here. I am ever hopeful that each new dawn will greet me with a fresh blanket of snow...perhaps someone is saving it as a Christmas gift for me! I can only hope...vertu svalur, y'all
[Listening to: Ást - Ragnheiður Gröndal - Ástarljóð (íslensk) (04:12)]
After having spent 20 years fighting real fires in Texas, I now find myself putting out fires in the realm of electrons. About the only difference between the two worlds that I can discern is that I generally end the day a little bit cleaner nowadays and the adrenaline rush is a bit less intense (sometimes, anyway;-) My areas of expertise are: firefighting/EMS, computers & networking, mechanics (auto, diesel, general), electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, astronomy, systems analysis, project management, fixing just about anything (except my marriage;-), and last, but not least...BEING ME (which is what I am absolutely the BEST at!!!)
