Like Brilliant Diamonds in the Cold Winter Sky

I know that I wax a bit poetic on the stars every year about this time, and this year will be no exception! With the arrival of the first crisp, cool fall evenings, I cannot wait to go out after midnight, when the night is the darkest and the world slumbers the deepest, to view the heavens in all of their splendor. It is one of my favorite times of year and I can only wait impatiently for the winter to deepen and my nocturnal wanderings with my stellar brethern to become a nightly ritual...I do love it so!
