What A Heavenly Sight

The seemingly never ending fog of winter has given us a momentary respite from its white shroud and we are enjoying one of those too-rare days of deep, crystal-blue winter skies. The day transitioned to a beautifully calm evening, followed by a clear, dark, moonless night sky, like dark blue velvet sprinkled with a brilliant display of diamonds. Mighty Orion hangs overhead with his shield raised to the rampaging Taurus, his faithful canine companions at his heels, and regal Leo majestically padding along in their wake.
